Luoghi abbandonati ma testimoni silenziosi di parte della storia di un territorio. Luoghi che una volta recuperati dal loro abbandono, diventano simbolo di rinascita e di riscoperta. La spiaggia di Coreca come simbolo di ripartenza e di rinascita da un infausto e triste disastro ecologico. In sintesi – ha aggiunto Cuglietta -, questo è il messaggio voluto e impresso nel documentario che in anteprima mondiale verrà proiettato a breve a Chicago, la città di Tony Wolf”.

In questo tipo di società: la società del terzo millennio, l'umanità è mercificata e l'individuo non è più il soggetto fondamentale, l'architrave che regge il mondo, il dominus di tutti i processi sociali.
Sicché, più che mai, si sente la necessità di "recuperare senso" al fine di ridare dignità alla persona ed al singolo individuo e demolire l'invisibile ed oppressiva barriera di isolamento che incolpevoli generazioni, oggi, sono costrette a subire.

What happened that February 20, 1921 went down in history as the chronicle and the tragic events of Ajello in Calabria, and had a national importance as well as local.

Il “Giornale di Calabria” (del 21.02.1921), nella ricostruzione dei fatti, riassumendo, parla di invasione da parte della folla del Municipio e della caserma dei Real Carabinieri (allocati nello stesso palazzo Cybo-Malaspina, nda); di aggressione ai militi, e di alcuni colpi di rivoltella, uno dei quali ferì un carabiniere in modo lieve. «I carabinieri allora - è scritto nell’articolo – vistisi ridotti a mal partito fecero uso delle armi furono esplosi cinque colpi che uccisero due dimostranti (…) e ne ferirono three others slightly. "

Un saggio di geografia disumana ”, realizzato lo scorso anno dal regista Massimo De Pascale in collaboration with Nicola Carvello (shooting and editing).
